Debate Topic 2: Are Online Gaming Communities Real?
I know there're quite a few gamers out there in Blazer. This happened to me last time i was playing. turned the whole community on me, hunted me down because I was hunting in an area where some big shot was camped(working 35 yr old man who AFKed while at work to gain exp). Crazy reaction by my standards... Totally turned me off gaming... the reactions was like "where you live? I'll meet u lah and settle" etc etc... Had a debate with my guild leader and I told her the way that this ppl are treating this like the real world is really freaking me out.
So question to you guys... Gamers who take it too seriously (key phrase): Mad? Of course guai lan online is not considered lah, i mean to take gaming like their LIFE (as Per Neh always says)

People who threaten to settle in game stuffs in real life are only kiddy bengs who thinks they rule the whole world, who in the fact, is only a pathetic sh1t who no one cares about. They are only acting tough because they have a strong guild to back them up. What game are you playing? I'll join you maybe we can start a little fun war against stupid children.

roy also got weird debates one sia... lol... hmm i think its okie to be involved but treating the game as a life is too much... Its a game u play to relax.. not to get more stress by it.

haha roy fr arts fac. leh haha hmm.. as they always put it, gaming is one way where you can escape into the 'ideal' world where you can actually be what you think and there's always a second chance. In short, it allows people to venture into their defined private world, exploring beyond their boundaries in real life which they could otherwise not realise or fulfill. However for some people, they fail to return back to the norm and become trapped in between the reality & illusion.
However, i believe it's fun to explore beyond your imagination in virtual reality once in a while, as a means to escape from the mundane life, momentarily that is haha. When you feel you're hooked onto it, get back to work next day and you might just wake up again hahaha. and the cycle goes on lol.

haha, i've currently given up playing mmogs... got time play play psp or ds, train train karate, do do some hmwrk... haha... Guoyi, join karate lah!!!
